SB Naik & Sons marched to a comfortable victory in the Dhadsakhal Stars Leather Ball Cricket Tournament, outplaying Aai Navadurga Cricketers in every department.
After opting to bowl first, Aai Navadurga found themselves on the receiving end of a brutal assault from Azaan Thota, who lit up the ground with a breathtaking 118 off just 53 balls. His innings—packed with 11 fours and 10 towering sixes—powered SB Naik & Sons to a strong 173/9 in 20 overs.
Chasing a stiff target, Aai Navadurga never found their rhythm. Regular wickets kept them under pressure, and they eventually folded for 113 in 18.2 overs. Thota capped off his stellar day with the ball as well, taking 2 for 17, sealing a memorable all-round performance.
SB Naik & Sons walked away convincing winners, thanks largely to Thota’s fireworks and discipline from their bowling unit.
